I led the ideation, design, and development of Vespa’s first connected app, a major technological milestone for the brand. This project marked Vespa’s entry into the connected mobility ecosystem, enabling its latest vehicle models to seamlessly integrate with a dedicated digital experience.
Working closely with Piaggio brand and Innovation Team, we defined the core interactions, functionalities, and user experience, translating Vespa’s iconic identity into a connected product that enhances the riding experience through exclusive features designed to make every journey smarter and more engaging.
Beyond vehicle connectivity, the Vespa app acts as a digital gateway to the Vespa world, allowing riders to share their passion for one of the most iconic and beloved scooters in the world.
The app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Turning connectivity into a global product experience
This project required the ability to govern a highly complex and technical program, from early experimentation to global launch. The team worked with connectivity control unit prototypes, developing and validating the digital experience without direct access to the vehicle, relying on simulations, iterative testing, and close collaboration with engineering teams.
I oversaw the project end to end, aligning product vision, technical constraints, and user experience, from early prototypes to App Store and Google Play publication, through to a worldwide launch.
This approach ensured consistency, reliability, and scalability, turning a highly technical challenge into a robust, user-centric connected product.
