About Marco Papale
Playing in the marketing and advertising arena since 2000, I define myself as a curious creative problem-solver with a strong passion for technology. Over the years, I have constantly searched for opportunities to transform ideas into projects and solutions, often anticipating market trends in digital and technology.
From Web Developer to Creative Technologist
Everything started in the early 2000s, when I began my career as a web developer. However, driven by my passion for UI & UX, I decided to continue my studies and become a digital designer. I completed my studies at the European Institute of Design in Milan, where I graduated with honors presenting my thesis on the development of an electronic music software called Weepr, launched online in 2008.
After that, I began my agency career covering different roles, ranging from interactive art direction to project management. In 2013, I joined the High Potential Employee program at J. Walter Thompson New York and continued my path focusing on the creative side of technology and digital innovation.
Innovation, AI and Creative Technology
Today, I work at VML, where I lead the innovation department creating valuable solutions and meaningful experiences that put technology at the service of creativity, customers, and brands. My work focuses on AI, digital innovation, creative technology and the development of new digital products and experiences.
What I Do
My work mainly focuses on three areas: solution design, development and consultancy. In particular, I help brands and businesses design, build and launch digital products, services and experiences, combining strategy, AI, creativity and technology.
